If you don't want to travel with your kit bag, don't worry: team kit bags are provided during the Festival of Cricket weeks. Because you will be playing on artificial grass, you are required to wear trainers.
For golfers, we have a large selection of clubs for hire, including left-handed clubs, available as half or full sets. At the Tennis Centre, it is possible to hire adult and junior tennis rackets, as well as squash and paddle tennis rackets.
There are also three sports shops: one in the hotel, one at the Golf Club and one at the Tennis Centre, where you will find top-quality sportswear and equipment, including La Manga Club branded products.
Clothing
With the great climate and an average of 331 days of sunshine per year, you may comfortably play cricket in shorts and t-shirts in the daytime, but please bear in mind that temperatures can be cooler from November to March, and that you will be glad of warmer clothing for the evenings.
Do not forget your swimming costume because, with the 25-metre indoor swimming pool at the Spa, swimming is definitely a year-round activity!
As this is a sports and holiday resort, the dress code is casual. Please note that shorts or sportswear are not permitted after 7:00 pm in Amapola restaurant and the Lorca Lounge, and after 10:00 pm in Spike's Bar.
Other Holiday Essentials
- Don't forget your camera, because everybody loves to keep pictures of their holiday!
- Sunglasses and caps are essential at such a sunny destination!
- If you are covered by a health or travel insurance policy, please remember to ask for a receipt and take it with you. There is a pharmacy on the resort and a private medical centre.
